Land Technician
Proline Energy Resources Inc is an Independent Oil and Gas Operating Company, and its affiliates are privately held oil and gas entities based in the Greater Houston Area, Texas. Our primary focus is to develop and produce onshore mature conventional, and unconventional natural gas resources in East Texas, South Texas, and Onshore Gulf Coast.
The externship is a paid full-time virtual position for 6 months. You will be trained on your tasks and deliveries. However, previous knowledge of the oil and gas industry is a bonus. After the externship, management would review your externship and if your performance meets expectation, a full-time offer would then be negotiated. Job Description
Research and respond to mineral or landowner queries
Resolve Division Order transfer problems
Assist landmen with review and analyzation of various oil and gas agreements
Identify and maintain obligations, including tracking acreage and expirations
Provide support and/or prepare detailed custom spreadsheets, reports and slides as needed
Research and process internal well proposals and track partner responses
Research and process non-operated well proposals and AFEs
Locate and research leases and contracts
Create and verify acreage reports that contain gross, net and company net acre figures
Provide support with acquisitions and divestitures as requested
Prepare Joint Operating Agreements, forms of assignment, ratifications, etc. as requested
Review land files to determine ownership interest in company lands
Understand and analyze complex agreements to create well comments throughout the life cycle of a well
Review third party invoices and timely process using correct accounting codes
Prepare payments to landowners and process LPR packets
Attend training seminars and expand knowledge base as available
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Mininmum Requirements
Bachelors in Oil and gas engineering and earth sciences
Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
