					<p><p>The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) USA District Society held its 2019 annual general meeting and induction program for qualified candidates’ resident in the USA from August 28th – August 31st, 2019 in Wyndham Houston West Energy Corridor. The Ag. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Proline Energy Resources Inc. - Mr. <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/ACoAAAAXjlUBY19_BAjUN4E25Os4CdxaF83OkV4/" id="ember89" target="_self">Dippo Bello, CPA</a>, who is also a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute was a Speaker at the 6th ICAN-USA International Accountants’ Conference dubbed “Houston 2019” where he discussed “How Accountants, Tax and IT professionals are Shaping the Future of the Energy Sector” – a roundtable session Mr. Bello highlighted that , “…Accountants will need to be more forward-looking and ready to adopt the use of Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence in their toolkit to have any effect on the future of the Sector. Whereas technological innovations drive significant changes in accounting practices, humans are still better at non-routine tasks, unstructured problem-solving, analysis, and judgment.” Mr. Dippo Bello holds an MBA degree from the University of Houston and he has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.</p>
